Philippines President Post-Visit Report From The United States


President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. concludes his official visit to Washington, D.C., United States of America by delivering a post-visit report on May 4, 2023.

From 1-4 May 2023, the President met with U.S. President Joseph Biden, Vice President Kamala Harris and other key Cabinet Secretaries where they reaffirmed the long-standing alliance and partnership between the Philippines and U.S.

He also engaged with several U.S. companies for investment, collaboration and expansion of current operations in the Philippines that will create jobs and address the nation’s key challenges in the areas of agriculture, food security, clean energy, digital connectivity, climate change and more.

Amid the loud cheers and excitement from his countrymen, President Marcos Jr. met with the Filipino community in the East Coast and thanked them for their immense contributions back in the Philippines.

Capping off his visit, the President delivered a policy speech at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) as part of the CSIS ASEAN Leadership Forum.

From Washington, D.C., the Chief Executive proceeds to London, United Kingdom to attend the coronation of King Charles III.
