According to its website, the CSIS is one of the world’s preeminent public policy institutions on foreign policy and national security issues. It is an independent, non-profit organization dedicated to advancing practical ideas to address the world’s greatest challenges.
It organizes conferences, do publishing works, conduct lectures and make media appearances to increase the knowledge, awareness and salience of policy issues with relevant stakeholders and the interested public.
